ABOUT THIS PROJECT
The University of Oklahoma Film Program is a program where the Arts Department hosts an evening where they show two classic films back to back in the Union once a month. I was supposed to create one poster per showing that had pieces from each movie cleverly interacting with each other. I thought that particular project would allow me to work with typography and actual images. I also decided that I would try to make the posters in a modern style with classic serigraphy influence. I tried to use as very few colors as possible and I had to teach myself how to use halftones to add depth and variation in color to make the poster seem more complex than it actually was.
