OUT OF THE GRAVE AND INTO YOUR HEART

synth-2.png

ABOUT THIS PROJECT

Four color screenprint of dark and light blue and eggplant ink on French Paper’s Pop-Tone Bubblegum cardstock. I’ve always had an affinity for analog synthesizers for as long as I can remember. There’s something so cool about them… maybe it’s all the knobs and buttons, or possibly it’s the infinite amount of sounds that a synth can be made. Whatever it is, all I know is that it makes me feel like a mad scientist, and that’s all that matters.

PABST BLUE ROYALTY

ABOUT THIS PROJECT

Three color screenprint of red, blue, and pearlescent gray as a tribute to the beer of my college years, late nights, and hungover design presentations. Cheers.

LEGION

ABOUT THIS PROJECT

"And he asked him, What is thy name? And he answered, saying, My name is Legion: for we are many." -Mark 5:9

GOLDIE GRAND CANYON

ABOUT THIS PROJECT

We met at an office party. She looked vaguely familiar - her impassive, fierce stare reminded me of an owl. A woman of refreshing candor. The easy gait of an athlete. She knew Latin and Greek; I had only a little French. The smell of a black-currant bush has ever since recalled me to that evening. The sleeve of her coat. A piece of cake. A firework display. The plays of Shakespeare. The paintings of Rembrandt. A rich, hoppy beer. She always enjoyed a drink.

Anyways, she died last year.
